What results to expect
Closed veins fade over several weeks as the body absorbs them. Symptoms like heaviness and swelling usually improve within days to weeks. Spider veins treated with sclerotherapy fade over three to six sessions. At your consultation the physician will tell you what is realistic for your legs, and what is not.
